Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance
Installation
  • Mounting: Can be installed horizontally, obliquely, or hung upside down via the dual-yoke bracket. Use a mounting clamp (not included) to attach to standard truss.
  • Safety: When rigging overhead, always attach a safety cable through the yoke and base — never carry or hang the fixture by the head alone.
  • Grounding: Connect the yellow/green earth conductor to a proper ground before powering on to prevent electric shock.
  • Ventilation: Maintain clearance around the chassis fans. Do not operate where ambient temperature exceeds 140°F (60°C).
  • DMX Wiring: Use shielded twisted-pair DMX cable. Terminate the final fixture in the chain with a 120Ω resistor across pins 2 and 3.
Cleaning
  • Housing: Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Never use alcohol or organic solvents.
  • Lens Array: Clean the front lenses periodically with a soft microfiber cloth — dust buildup reduces beam clarity.
  • Fans & Vents: Vacuum or air-blow dust out of the fan grilles and heat-sink fins every 200 hours of use.
Maintenance
  • Cool-Down: After a power-off, allow approximately 20 minutes for the fixture to cool fully before relocating or re-powering.
  • Inspection: Periodically check that yoke screws, safety cable, and hanging hardware are tight; verify the lens, lamp module, and internal wiring are free of cracks or moisture.
  • Service: There are no user-serviceable parts inside. If a fault persists, stop using the fixture and contact authorized service.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Can this moving head be used outdoors?

No. This fixture is IP20-rated for indoor use only. Exposure to rain, moisture, or damp environments may cause electrical failure or shorten the LED lifespan.

What is the beam angle range?

The motorized zoom adjusts continuously from 10° (tight aerial beam) to 60° (wide audience wash) — letting one fixture cover both effects without swapping lenses.

Can I use it without a DMX controller?

Yes. The Auto and Sound Active modes run built-in color and movement programs with no external controller — pair multiple fixtures via Master-Slave for synchronized shows.

How loud are the cooling fans?

The fixture uses intelligent thermal-management fans that ramp based on LED temperature. They remain low-profile at typical operating loads, suitable for clubs, weddings, and stage use.
