Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Installation

Mount the fixture in any position — hanging upside down, sideways on trussing, or on a flat surface — using the included bracket with M10 fixing point (mounting clamp not included).
  • Keep the fixture at least 8 in (20 cm) from flammable materials and 1.6 ft (0.5 m) from any object or surface.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit and have all electrical connections made by a qualified electrician.
  • Use indoors in dry locations only; never expose the fixture to rain or moisture.
  • Never plug the fixture into a dimmer pack.
  • Never point the laser beams toward people, vehicles, aircraft, or reflective surfaces.

    Cleaning
  • Disconnect power and allow about 15 minutes for the fixture to cool before handling.
  • Wipe the housing and lenses with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Never open the unit or use liquids or solvents on the housing.

    Maintenance

  • No user-serviceable parts inside — do not open the fixture or attempt repairs, as this voids the warranty.
  • Do not operate the fixture if the power cord is frayed, crimped, or damaged; replace it with one of the same rating.
  • Handle the power cord by the plug end only, and never force a connector into the fixture.
  • Give the fixture regular operational breaks and use the original packaging for transport or service.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What effects does this fixture produce?

Six effects in one moving head: single-color LED beams in red, green, blue, or white, a rotating derby, an RGB par wash, red and green starry lasers, white and golden strobe, and two color-chasing light strips. Each can run alone in program mode or combined in the auto modes.

What is a derby effect?

The derby is the center lens cluster that rotates and throws multiple sharp beams across the room, creating a sweeping, scanning pattern. In DMX mode, its rotation speed and brightness have their own channels (CH5 and CH12).

Can I run it without a DMX controller?

Yes. Auto mode (3 combination programs, 9 speeds), sound active mode (adjustable sensitivity 0–100), and program mode (8 individual effects) all run standalone from the control panel or remote.

How does the movement work?

The main motor pans the head through 360°, the two beam heads each tilt through 0–90°, and the derby rotates continuously. For the best-defined beams, use it with haze or fog.
