Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance
Installation
  • Mounting: Use the included steel bracket to place the fixture upright on a flat surface, clamp it to truss, or hang it from a stable structure rated for the combined weight of the fixture, clamp, and cabling.
  • Safety Cable: When the fixture is suspended or rigged overhead, always attach an appropriately rated safety cable as a secondary attachment in addition to the clamp.
  • Clearance: Keep the fixture at least 8.5 in (20 cm) away from any flammable material. Keep at least 1.6 ft (0.5 m) between the fixture and any nearby object or surface.
  • Laser Safety: Never aim the lasers directly at the audience. Project laser effects at least 9.8 ft (3 m) above audience heads, and survey the room for reflective surfaces that could bounce stray beams.
  • Electrical: Use a properly grounded outlet. AC 95–245V input is auto-sensed — no voltage switch needed.
Cleaning
  • Housing & Lenses: Power off and unplug, then wipe the housing and lens surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth. Use only mild glass cleaner on the lenses if needed — never solvents.
  • Heat Vents: Vacuum or blow dust out of the heat dissipation slots periodically to maintain cooling performance.
Maintenance
  • Cool Down: Allow approximately 15 minutes of cool-down time after operation before servicing or repacking.
  • Storage: Store in a dry environment under 104°F (40°C). Power the fixture down completely when not in use to extend LED and motor life.
  • Inspection: Before each event, verify all 6 arms tilt freely, the disco ball rotates, the lasers fire safely above the audience zone, and the DMX/remote responds.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What's the difference between this and a regular moving head?

This is a 5-in-1 party fixture, not a single-source moving head. Instead of one big beam, you get six articulated RGBW arms, a center mirror-ball effect, a red/green starry laser, white/amber strobes, and a halo ring — all on a 540° rotating base.

Can I control each arm independently?

Yes. In DMX mode (26 channels), CH4 through CH9 control the tilt of arms 1–6 independently from 0° to 180°, so you can run wave, fan, opposing-pair, or pulse patterns.

Does the laser hit the audience?

The laser shouldn't be aimed at anyone. Project laser effects at least 9.8 ft (3 m) above audience heads and check the room for reflective surfaces before each event. Federal law also prohibits aiming any laser at aircraft.

Is the disco ball mechanical or LED-projected?

The center "disco ball" is a 15W RGBW LED projector with a faceted dome that throws a rotating multicolor mirror-ball pattern across walls and ceilings — no spinning glass ball or external pin-spot needed.
