Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance
Installation
  • Safety: Keep this equipment away from rain, moisture, and liquids. For indoor use only.
  • Setup: Ensure there is no damage caused during transportation before initial start-up.
  • Mounting: Secure the included bracket to a truss with a clamp (not included), a wall, or the ground. Tighten the adjustment knob firmly to prevent vibration or slippage.
  • Ventilation: Mount in an area that allows proper airflow. Do not enclose the unit or block air vents.
  • Power: Plug into a standard AC outlet (110–240V). Never connect to a dimmer pack.
  • DMX: Connect a shielded 3-pin XLR cable from your controller's output to the fixture's DMX IN port. Use 110–120 Ohm cable for reliable data transmission.
Cleaning
  • Lens: Clean the lens once every week to maintain brightness. Use a soft cloth and be careful as the surface is easy to damage.
  • Fans: Clean the fans once every month to ensure proper cooling.
  • Method: Use a vacuum cleaner or air compressor to remove dust from the exterior.
  • Warning: Always cut the power source before taking the light apart or cleaning. Never use liquid to clean the PCB to avoid short circuits.
Maintenance
  • Routine Check: Periodically check screws and spare parts to ensure they are tight and in good condition.
  • Dust Removal: Clear dust and fragments from the inner light to prevent overheating and corrosion.
  • Storage: During extended periods of non-use, disconnect from power and store in a cool, dry location.
  • Remote Battery: Replace the CR2025 battery in the IR remote as needed for continued wireless control.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Can I control the light without a DMX controller?

Yes. The PAR light includes an IR remote controller for wireless operation, plus standalone modes including auto, sound-activated, color snap, color fade, color pulse, strobe, and static color — no DMX controller required.

Can I link multiple units together for a synchronized light show?

Yes. You can daisy-chain up to 64 units via 3-pin XLR cables in master-slave mode. The slave units automatically follow the master unit's built-in programs without needing a separate DMX controller.

What colors can this PAR light produce?

With full RGB mixing (20 Red, 20 Green, 20 Blue LEDs), you can create virtually any color. There are also 16 preset static colors including red, green, blue, white, cyan, amber, and rose, each with adjustable intensity.

How do I mount this PAR light?

The unit comes with a dual mounting bracket and adjustment knob. You can hang it from a truss using a clamp (not included), mount it on a wall, or place it on the ground. Ensure the mounting surface is secure and allows proper ventilation.
