Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance
Installation
  • Ensure the tripod stand’s legs are fully extended and tighten all knobs for a stable base before mounting the light bar.
  • Mount the light bar onto the tripod’s fixture mount and secure it using the locking knobs. (Alternatively, attach the provided hanging brackets to mount the bar on a truss or ceiling if needed.)
  • For multiple units, utilize the locking endcaps to physically link light bars end-to-end, and connect via DMX cables for synchronized control.
Cleaning
  • Always turn off and unplug the light bar before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the LED lenses and aluminum housing to remove dust or debris.
  • Avoid using water, sprays, or harsh chemicals on the unit to prevent damage to electronic components.
Maintenance
  • Periodically inspect the power cord, DMX cables, and connectors for any signs of wear or damage; replace as needed for safety.
  • Keep ventilation openings (if any) and LED lenses clear of dust buildup to ensure proper cooling and optimal brightness.
  • Check and tighten any adjustable knobs, brackets, or screws before use to maintain stability, especially after transport or extended use.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Is the included tripod stand stable enough?

Yes. The tripod stand is constructed from sturdy steel and features non-slip feet, making it very stable for holding the light bar. It sets up securely, and you can trust it to support the fixture during use (it even has a hook where you can hang an additional light or weight for added stability if needed).

How many LEDs does it have, and what effects can it do?

The unit contains a total of 40 LEDs in a dual-row configuration. It offers 37 preset static colors and 95 dynamic lighting effect programs built-in, giving you a wide variety of color mixes and chasing patterns to enhance your show.

What DMX options does it support?

This light supports standard DMX-512 control. It has five selectable DMX channel modes (8, 20, 40, 60, or 120 channels) so you can choose how detailed you want your control to be. It also supports RDM (Remote Device Management), which means you can remotely configure and monitor the fixture’s settings from an RDM-compatible DMX controller.

Can I use this light without a DMX controller?

Yes, you can. The 100W pixel light bar includes numerous built-in programs and preset colors that can run automatically without an external controller. You can select static colors or auto show modes and adjust the chase speed (0–100%) using the fixture’s onboard menu, so it works great even as a standalone unit.
