Installation, Cleaning & Maintenance
Installation
  • Safety: Keep this equipment away from rain, moisture, and liquids. For indoor / dry use only (IP20).
  • Setup: Ensure there is no damage caused during transportation before initial start-up.
  • Mounting: Secure the included bracket to a truss with a clamp (not included), a wall, or a flat surface.
  • Always use M10 or larger hardware when rigging overhead, and attach a safety cable (not included).
  • Clearance: Maintain a minimum distance of 1.6 ft (0.5 m) to objects/surfaces and 8 in (20 cm) to flammable materials.
  • Ventilation: Mount in an area that allows proper airflow. The fixture operates in any position — hanging, sideways, or on a surface.
  • Power: Plug into a standard AC outlet (110–240V). Never connect to a dimmer pack. Power-link up to 6 units at 110V.
  • DMX: Connect a shielded 3-pin XLR cable from your controller's output to the fixture's DMX IN port. Use the shortest cable path possible for reliable data transmission.
Cleaning
  • Lens: Clean the lens once every week to maintain brightness. Use a soft cloth and be careful as the surface is easy to damage.
  • Fans: Clean the fans once every month to ensure proper cooling.
  • Method: Use a vacuum cleaner or air compressor to remove dust from the exterior.
  • Warning: Always cut the power source before taking the light apart or cleaning. Never use liquid to clean the PCB to avoid short circuits.
Maintenance
  • Routine Check: Periodically check screws and spare parts to ensure they are tight and in good condition.
  • Dust Removal: Clear dust and fragments from the inner light to prevent overheating and corrosion.
  • Storage: During extended periods of non-use, disconnect from power and store in a cool, dry location.
  • Cool Down: Allow approximately 15 minutes for the fixture to cool before servicing.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How many DMX channels does the unit use?

The strobe light offers 3 DMX channel modes: 4CH (basic RGBW dimming), 16CH (separate RGB, white, and RGBW program control with directional chasing), and 112CH (full pixel-level control over all 32 RGB zones and 16 white zones).

Can I link multiple units for a synchronized light show?

Yes. Daisy-chain units via 3-pin XLR cables in master-slave mode. The slave units follow the master's programs. You can also power-link up to 6 units at 110V.

How many built-in programs does this fixture have?

There are 233 total built-in programs — 85 RGB shows, 63 white shows, and 85 combined RGBW shows. Each has adjustable speed (15 levels) and can run in normal or reverse chasing direction.

Can I create custom static colors?

Yes. In RGB mode, you can independently adjust the red, green, and blue channels (0–255 each) to mix any custom color. There are also 9 preset static colors for quick selection.
